URGENT PRAYER REQUEST for Our brothers and sisters in Nepal
Dear Brother Ian and Team
My family and I are safe. However, 2 of our close pastors' families are missing. There's no hope that they have survived. A massive glacial collapse combined with heavy monsoon rain triggered a huge flash flood just north of Kathmandu. A giant wave of mud, water, and rocks tore down the Bhote Koshi and Trishuli rivers, smashing homes, bridges, and highways. Roads are blocked, villages are cut off, and downstream areas are still on high alert as rescue teams work to get people to safety. Many churches have been wiped out. While I'm writing this, more than 360 are dead, and over 1,500 people are reported missing. Among these, more than 400 of them are foreigners and tourists. Many dead bodies are seen in the videos and photos. The number of missing and dead would grow as the rescue continues. There's news of another flood, since there are still glaciers up in the mountains which can leak and pour down. Please pray for no rain until full rescue and relief is delivered. May the Lord have mercy on us in Nepal.

- Pray for Pastors Family and Church - Pray for Pastors Santosh and Narayan who have lost their Loved once.
- Help to the rescue teams- Pray for energy and safety for the workers and volunteers who are digging through mud and crossing dangerous rivers to save people.
- Condolences and Comfort for those hurting: Pray for peace for everyone who lost their homes, belongings, or loved ones in the chaos.
- Better weather: Pray that the heavy rain stops completely so rescue choppers can fly and the water levels can finally drop.
- Quick help and supplies: Pray that clean water, food, and dry shelter get to the survivors without any delays.
Psalm 46:1-2 God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth gives way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea.
