The Trustees...

The Trustees of Bikes4Mission are passionate followers of Jesus with decades of combined experience in international mission. Since September 2021  we have met weekly to pray, seek God, and grow together. Bikes4Mission is one of the fruits of those precious times. We are all grandparents, and we all call Carmarthenshire, Wales, home.

Ian Read — Founder

A lifelong entrepreneur, Ian served with his wife Irene as missionaries in Spain and later trained leaders across Southeast Asia through the Institute of Training Association. He is a passionate motorcyclist and lover of God’s creation.

Phil Aston

Phil and his wife Elspeth are missionaries, leaders, and pioneers with extensive experience across Africa, training and raising up missionaries from Africa to Africa. Phil loves fishing, boats, and driving over sand dunes.

Ian Jeal

Ian and his wife Jill have spent many years leading prayer at a governmental level in Europe, including long-term work in Strasbourg with European institutions. Ian has a passion for all things electric—sound, video, and cars.

Ivan Stewart

Ivan and his wife Hazel are long-term missionaries and prayer leaders, with ministry experience in South America and Greece. They have also served faithfully at Ffald-y-Brenin. Ivan is a farmer and storyteller who brings rich insight into scripture through the lens of the land.

Malcolm Williams

Malcolm and his wife Joyce have supported international mission for many decades, partnering with organisations such as UCB and World Horizons. The trustees deeply value Malcolm’s practical support and unwavering intercession. He has a passion for Rolls Royce, Wankel engines, and Stoke‑on‑Trent.
