Sept 26 News - Autumn update
Welcome to the Autumn '26 update from us here at Bikes4Mission, what an amazing summer we have been blessed with. Trust you have enjoyed the sunshine and coped with any water shortages that you may have had.
A very special welcome to the people who are reading this for this first time, many of whom we recently met at Aber26 in Aberystwyth. It is great to have you on board and thank you for connecting.
ALPHA PAKISTAN
Here in Europe we are familiar with Alpha, a course that has impacted many lives in our community as faithful teachers take people on a journey to discover more of the good news that we carry.
Alpha reaches far further than we might realise. Mr ’S’ is a Pakistani missionary working with Operation Mobilisation, training Alpha trainers in Karachi, Pakistan. Traveling extensively he trains them to deliver the course to people who, notwithstanding their Islamic background, are hungry to hear the truth about Jesus.
Karachi is not an easy place to be a Christian and Mr ’S’ is familiar with very serious threats being made to him personally. He is faithful in what he does and continues in his fruitful ministry. Earlier this year Mr ’S’ was held at gunpoint and had his belongings stolen, this included his mobile phone and his motorcycle!
It has been a real joy to put Mr ’S’ back on the road with a brand new Suzuki GS150 which Bikes4Mission purchased for him in July. It’s more than providing the much needed motorcycle, it is the privilege of partnering with Mr ’S’ in his ministry. Through this event we have become more aware of his ministry and the work of Alpha in Pakistan. Please take a moment right now and pray for Mr ’S’, pray for his protection, those he ministers to, for those he is discipling to grow into the men God created them to be. Pray for ALPHA Pakistan - that it would reach right into the heart of communities bringing light where there is darkness.

CELEBRATION AT SENNYBRIDGE
Bikes4Mission celebrated its first Birthday in May. Since becoming a registered charity B4M has supplied 11 motorcycles taking the gospel deeper into the world’s nooks and crannies. Local workers in Pakistan, Indonesia, and Sierra Leonne can now go further spreading the good news and making disciples.
It is important to celebrate what God had done in our first year. We are so grateful God inspired us, opening the way for funds to be raised and motorcycles, prayer and support to be provided.
What a summer to celebrate! Little did we know that the late May sunshine we enjoyed on the day was the start of such a long hot summer. We gathered at Bethesda Barn in Sennybridge, beautifully located in Bannau Brycheiniog National Park Wales. Thank you to Mike and Sarah of Bethesda Barns https://bethesdabarns.co.uk for hosting B4M.
Stories were shared from Indonesia, Pakistan and Sierra Leone, with some teaching on mission and the importance of equipping and supporting indigenous mission workers. We also shared more of the passion of Bikes4Mission to get the story of the Cross to The Ends of The Earth.
We were led into an extended time of loving God through worship by Steve Bird, a man and a guitar! Such a blessing as we bathed in God’s presence; the name of Jesus was raised high and loud right in the heart of Wales.
ABER26 WALES
As the summer continued B4M had its first ever 'events stand' exhibiting at Aber26, an annual conference held in Aberystwyth University, organised by the Evangelical Movement of Wales. The main speaker this year was Phil Swan, a friend of ours who pastors Llanelli Free Evangelical Church here in Llanelli.
A big thank you to everyone who came to the Missions’ exhibition, stopped to ask about Bikes4Mission and signed up for this newsletter. It was great to see people of all ages from across the UK interested in mission. We were delighted to find our “spot” next to Reach Beyond, our partner agency for our project in Sierra Leone.
From this event we hope to be invited to share our stories further afield, that our community supporting the pushing of The Gospel into the nooks and crannies would grow.
CURRENT PROJECT - GOAT FARMERS IN NEPAL
Our second time of partnering with STURR sees us raising funds for a Triumph 400CC off road motorcycle for Indra to use as he ministers to the goat farmers high in the Himalayas. This is our largest and most expensive motorcycle to date; it’s what is needed to go to the nooks and crannies in the remote Himalayan mountains.
Indra and his wife pastor a church in Kathmandu. They also work with the goat farmers in a ministry called Abundance Goat Farm Mission where they are helping the farmers improve the quality of their breeding stock. The farmers are responding to the message of Jesus which Idris carries and mini churches are being planted. Indra now needs a better means of transport so he can travel further into the high Himalayas, reaching the distant villages and having more time to spend with the farming communities.
Indra has already raised half of the cost of the motorcycle and we are committing to raise the second half. Help us raise the £2,200 needed. From our relationship with Idris and his wife you can be assured that your investment will ensure Kingdom growth in the heart of this unreached region of the world.

As summer turns to autumn and harvest time, let us reflect on God’s unfailing goodness and abundance in our lives. We are stirred and encouraged by what God is currently doing in our nation so let us remember Jesus told us to take the message of good news into ALL the world. There are faithful passionate people who are eager to go to their own people. They have the language, the cultural understanding and the love for Jesus but they need equipping and supporting in prayer. These are our brothers and sisters, let us show our love for them and support them in practical ways as you partner with Bikes4mission. So before closing this email please take a moment to pray for theseworkers out in Indonesia, Pakistan & Sierra Leone who have already received motorcycles. Pray for their families, their health, ongoing provision and their safety. Pray that they see much fruit in their work and for doors of opportunity to continue opening for them. Thank you.
