Converging Dreams

One year ago we saw a crazy idea hatch into something that we had no plans on creating. Six months previously my wife and I set out to provide a scooter for a friend, Aladdin. Aladdin was struggling to get the good news of Jesus Christ out into the nooks and crannies of an Indonesian Island called Lombok.

Here we are a year later having supplied 11 motorcycles into various countries, namely, Indonesia, Pakistan and Sierra Leone, specifically to indigenous Christian workers who are going off-piste getting into the worlds nooks and crannies.

I, Ian, so wanted to be the person heading into those unreached places. As a youngster I imaged following my heroes into the jungle taking Jesus into wild and remote places. Eventually my wife and I became missionaries in Spain, hardly wild or remote! However after years of being a responsible car driver I re-discovered motorcycles whilst in Spain and my renewed love of the open road was to lead me beyond those wonderful Spanish mountain trails.

Combining my awakened passion for motorcycles, my deep love of God and my drive to see Jesus brought to those who've not heard. Bikes4Mission was birthed as a registered charity here in Wales in 2025. I'm still not jungle based, i'm not sure I ever will be, but I have the awesome privilege of enabling others to get to those remote nooks and crannies, not just in one country, but across the nations. I also have the joy of having a group of praying men join me as we travel further, those four men are not just trustees but valued friends and mentors.

As I said previously we are working in Indonesia, Pakistan and Sierra Leone. We are also now reaching into Nepal and looking at other projects elsewhere - this journey is looking very exciting! So please follow us on this journey, become a part of it and lets see where God takes us!

This is my first attempt at a blog, they'll always be short because thats the way I am. However, I will do my best to take you to the places where our brothers and sisters do their lives, giving you opportunities to partner with them as together we fulfil Jesus' desire to see Himself brought to every group of people throughout this beautiful planet that we live on. We'll have opportunities to be encouraged, to pray and to celebrate as we hear stories of what God is doing in and though His people.
